Throughout his life Sir Winston was a traveller, a wayfarer, exploring the world through his work as a war correspondent, widening his horizons and his mind. It was his travels that kicked off his love affair with cigars. In fact, this cigar’s blend is inspired by experiences made abroad. Amongst other countries, his roaming spirit would take him to Marrakesh, the inspiration for many of his paintings and a location as rich and full-flavoured as this Belicoso format cigar, which would certainly satisfy Sir Winston’s taste for the exotic.
The Davidoff WSC Original Series Belicoso is part of the “Winston Churchill” tribute line from Davidoff, honoring the legendary aficionado Winston Churchill. It’s crafted in a compact belicoso format, offering premium blend quality in a shorter session size. The blend features an Ecuadorian Habano-seed wrapper (or Ecuadorian habano style), a Mexican binder, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
