Eagle Rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon
A complex single barrel bourbon carefully aged for no less than 10 years. Each barrel is discriminately selected, ensuring each bottle offers consistent flavour, with a seemingly individual personality.
Brand History
Eagle Rare is produced at The Buffalo Trace Distillery, the longest continuously-run distillery in the US. The site was first established at the end of the 1700s and has been making whiskey ever since.
Tasting notes & Awards
The nose is complex, with aromas of toffee, hints of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak. The taste is bold, dry and delicate with notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa. The finish is dry and lingering.

Neat50ml Eagle Rare Pour into a rocks glass |
On the Rocks50ml Eagle Rare, ice (preferably cubed) Pour into a rocks glass over ice |
Old Fashioned50ml Eagle Rare, 1 sugar cube, Bitters. Put the sugar cube and dashes of bitters in a rocks glass. Crush the sugar and add 25ml of Eagle Rare and 5 cubes of ice. Stir for 30 seconds. Add the rest of the Eagle Rare and 5 more ice cubes. Stir for another 45 seconds and serve. Add an orange peel as a garnish. |
