About Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut Champagne
A pioneer in rosé Champagne
Since 1968, Laurent-Perrier has mastered a unique style of rosé champagne using full-maceration of Pinot Noir grapes—unusual in the region.
-
Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir.
-
Crus: Approximately ten crus in the Montagne de Reims region (Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois, Tours-sur-Marne).
-
Maceration & Aging: Grapes are macerated on the skins 48-72 hours to extract colour & flavour; aged at least 5 years on the lees.
Tasting Profile:
-
Colour: Elegant raspberry tending to salmon-pink hue.
-
Nose: Bright and fresh, with red-fruit aromas of raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant and black cherry.
-
Palate: A crisp, fresh attack then supple texture; vibrant red fruits dominate with refined persistence.
Why Choose This Rosé Champagne:
-
It’s widely regarded as one of the benchmark non-vintage rosé Champagnes, made with real depth and freshness rather than mere colour blend.
-
The full-maceration technique gives a richer, more expressive rosé than many standard rosé Champagnes.
-
Versatile: great as an aperitif, for celebration, or paired with food.
-
Presents strong value for a high quality rosé Champagne from a major house.
Serving & Pairing Tips:
-
Serve chilled around 8-10 °C to maintain freshness and fine mousse.
-
Use a tulip-shaped Champagne glass to allow aromas to open.
-
Pair with dishes like: marinated fish, grilled prawns, Parma ham, light cheeses or desserts of red fruits.
-
Store in a cool, dark place upright, away from strong odours or vibration until ready to serve.
